Our Commitment
Silo Business Services is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards across our public website and client portal.
Skip Links
A skip-to-content link is present on all pages to allow keyboard and screen reader users to bypass navigation and reach the main content directly. This link is visually hidden until focused.
Semantic HTML
We use semantic HTML elements including header, nav, main, section, article, and footer to provide meaningful document structure. This helps assistive technologies understand the hierarchy and relationships of page content.
Form Labels and Instructions
All form inputs have properly associated labels using the label element's for attribute or implicit nesting. Required fields are indicated both visually and programmatically using the required attribute and aria-required where appropriate.
ARIA Landmarks and Roles
We use ARIA roles and labels for navigation regions, tab panels, modal dialogs, and dynamic content areas. This improves screen reader navigation and helps users orient themselves within complex page structures.
Ongoing Improvements
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We periodically review our site for conformance, test with keyboard-only navigation, and consider accessibility in every design and development decision.
Feedback
We welcome accessibility feedback. If you encounter any barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact Jackson Howell at jackson@siloservices.net or 762-847-5050. We aim to respond within two business days.
